Biddell has made an immediate impact and excelled as a rookie keeper, similar to the results produced by men’s soccer defensive player of the week Andrew Boulton (Findlay), also a freshman.
The freshman keeper saved all five shots on target when the Storm traveled to Glenville State and later in the week Biddell saved another five shots against Notre Dame (OH).
Biddell has allowed zero goals in 200 minutes played this year as the Storm have outscored opponents 5-0 on the road this season.
They also remain unbeaten with a 2-0-1 record and Biddell keeping the defensive unit organized in the back is a big reason for the early success.
Lake Erie started the season with three straight road games and will make its home debut on Saturday when the Storm welcome conference opponent Ursuline to town.
