Hunt shined for an opened up Kentucky Wesleyan offense as she contributed 17 points that included eight goals and one assist. The Panthers filled up the scoreboard with 13 goals against two opponents.

After having their first game postponed and losing their second game to a tough region opponent in McKendree, this past week proved to be a bounce back stretch for the Panthers as a whole.

Hunt’s five goals against Berea is one of the finest single-game efforts throughout the league since 2012. She is just the third player to score five goals in a game, the second highest single-game output in the Great Midwest.

The overall record for goals scored in a game is 7 back in 2015 by Ohio Valley’s Andrea Ortiz-Borray.

Hunt, one of the league’s all-time leading goal scorers in her prolific career, also scored in the loss to McKendree.

Hunt has contributed to 10 of the team’s 15 goals so far this season and the Panthers will need Hunt to continue her scoring ways as they start conference play by traveling to Trevecca Nazarene to start the conference schedule on Saturday, their only match of the week.
