Hayes registered the top height cleared in the conference this year with a provisional mark of 3.83m (12’ 6.75”) at the Dragon Grand Prix.
She also put a dent into the conference record books as the only pole vaulter not named Kaitlyn Barber (Walsh NCAA qualifier) to climb into the list of top 10 heights in conference history.
As a freshman, Hayes has emerged as a contender for a conference title and officially has the No. 7 height in the Great Midwest indoor records.
