Emerson was tied for the league lead in points over the past week of competition as he netted a pair of goals and assisted three more for the Lakers.
Mercyhurst was in cruise control against Wheeling Jesuit in a 21-4 final as many players on the roster were able to see the field in this one.
Emerson matched his career-best goal total after also scoring twice against Davis & Elkins back on March 17. The assist total was a career high and he was also credited with two ground balls and one caused turnover.
Emerson fired seven shots against the Cardinals defense and six of those were on goal. His brother, Hunter, was the winning keeper tending net.
Emerson now has 12 points (6 G, 6 A) in eight games played this spring for Mercyhurst.
