In addition to being one of the best hitters in the postseason, Orr made his mark on the pitcher’s mound while helping Tiffin carve out a path to an eventual championship trophy.
The sophomore was voted as an all-conference first-team performer by the coaches and his two-way ability was on display at Prasco Park.
Orr went the distance for a nine-inning complete game against No. 5 Kentucky Wesleyan. He struck out 10 hitters and gave up three runs on seven hits.
It was a critical victory in the winner’s bracket with both teams at 2-0 looking to earn a trip to the conference championship series.
Orr also batted .600 manning the leadoff position in the batting order with six RBI and a pair of extra-base hits.
