Sweet was a perfect 7-0 in conference play at the No. 1 singles position, a key catalyst for the program’s success qualifying for the postseason again.
She finished off her perfect regular season in league play with a straight-set victory over Cedarville’s Liana English, 6-3, 6-2.
Sweet also won No. 1 doubles with Laiying Alvarado by a final score of 6-1. The talented sophomore goes into the playoffs with a 12-5 overall record singles action.
Sweet is also 9-1 in her past 10 singles matches, regardless of opponent, including a three-set win over Southern Indiana’s No. 1 back on March 31.
