Seitz and the Trojans are currently on a five-game winning streak after a 5-1 week which included sweeps of conference-leading Ohio Dominican as well as Ohio Valley.
The sophomore went 11-for-17 at the plate with a .647 batting average. Seitz had six extra-base hits including a three-home run effort in the same day against OVU on Friday.
Seitz had nine RBI, scored nine runs, had four total home runs with a .647 on-base percentage and a 1.471 slugging percentage for the week.
The Milford, Ohio native went a perfect 4-for-4 with doubles and a home run in game two against Ohio Valley. In the first game, she was 3-for-4 and have five RBIs with two home runs.
The weekly conference honor is the first of Seitz’ career who now has hit safely in the last four games.
In 79 at-bats, Seitz a now hitting at a .329 clip with nine doubles which is second best on the team.
