Davenport was a top-tier finisher at the Greyhound Invitational at Purgatory in Noblesville, Ind., where the Chargers competed among 17 teams, including Findlay and Tiffin from the league.
The freshman finished third overall in the field with a three-round total of 213 (77-67-69), including two rounds under par to finish out the tourney.
Davenport was 3-under par for the 54 holes to help Hillsdale finish seventh in the team scoring.
The freshman has now recorded four top-10 finishes in 2018-19 and has scored eight rounds of even par or better on the links.
His 67 (-5) was the second-best score of the season for the England product. He fired a 66 earlier this month at the Music City Invitational.
In eight events (20 rounds), he has compiled a scoring average of 72.85, currently fifth overall in the conference. His win-loss record vs. opponents is an impressive 640-100 (.865).
