Wipper’s second conference athlete of the week performance for the season stems from a runner-up performance at the Ohio Dominican-hosted NC4K Classic in Blacklick, Ohio.
The Oilers finished a very close second to defending national champion UIndy in the team scoring and the junior’s performance was a big reason for staying within striking distance.
Wipper had a two-round score of 146 (70-76) to finish 2-over par for the tournament as four different Oilers placed in the top 12 overall.
Her first-round total of 70 (-2) was the eighth round by a UF women’s golfer under par in 2018-19.
Wipper is third in the conference in scoring average at 75.63 through 19 rounds played. She has four top-5 finishes with a best round of 67 (-5) at the William Beall Fall Classic.
