Eismann was the defensive stopper in yet another conference championship rematch between the nationally-ranked Griffins and rival Mercyhurst, ranked 11th when the two clashed on Saturday.
The junior USILA All-American made a career-high 20 saves for No. 12 Seton Hill as the Griffins pursue their third consecutive league championship.
The 13-11 win for Seton Hill put the Griffins in the driver’s seat for first place in the conference standings.
Eismann had a save percentage of over 64 percent while facing a total of 57 shots from the Mercyhurst offense. He also collected nine ground balls.
This is the SHU keeper’s fourth conference defensive player of the week award as a competing member of the Great Midwest.
