Brown was tough on opponents in the batter’s box as she stretched out for 15.2 innings and featured a 0.45 ERA. The senior earned a pair of winning decisions in two starts while making four total appearances in the circle.
Brown carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning against Nova Southeastern as she finished off a complete game one-hitter.
She also blanked a traditionally strong UMSL program with a six-hit shout as the offense picked her up with three runs of support.
Brown also came in for brief relief outings against Western Oregon and Mary, combining for 1.2 more scoreless frames.
In seven games, Brown is now 2-1 with a 3.21 ERA while pitching 24 innings this spring. This is the fourth time in her career that she has earned conference pitcher of the week honors.
