In record-breaking fashion, Collins continues to wield a hot bat as she had a monster four-game stretch for the Trojans against Lincoln Memorial, Northern State and University of Sciences.

Collins belted three home runs, including two grand slams, to set the single-game conference record for RBI with nine.

The RBI total officially breaks the previous single-game conference record of eight done twice by former All-American and league player of the year Katie Chryssofos of Salem International.

Only two players have hit three home runs in a single game as Collins joined Ursuline’s Brigitte Snow in the record books. The single-game record of four homers swatted by Ursuline’s Leah Leshnack was threatened, but still stands the test of time.

Collins also went yard in game one of the doubleheader against the Railsplitters, hitting a two-run shot to help TNU win, 6-3. She also singled twice against Northern State.

This is her second conference weekly honor of the season already. At the time of release, statistics from TNU’s 12-0 win vs. University of Sciences were not available.
