Curry hit for the cycle in the combined series against Coker as the Panthers split a four-game set to open the spring in South Carolina.
The senior hit .500 from the plate in 16 at-bats with four extra-base hits, including two doubles, a triple and a home run.
He drove in seven and scored five runs to help KWC score 25 runs combined in the two Panthers’ wins.
In just his third at-bat of the season, Curry drove in a run with an RBI double in the fifth inning. In his next plate appearance in the sixth inning, he crushed a two-run bomb as Kentucky Wesleyan pounded out 22 hits.
In the 8-0 KWC win, Curry delivered a two-run double in the top of the first inning as part of a four-run frame from the Panthers.
Curry’s arm and bat was a big reason why the Panthers were in the Great Midwest Championship series against Hillsdale to finish out 2018.
