Troyer is helping keep Ohio Dominican in the playoff hunt with a strong two-game showing that included numbers that were over halfway to a triple-double.
She was the league’s top scorer from the past week of competition along with Ursuline’s Julia Cardwell (22.5 ppg) and added strong rebounding numbers (9.5 rpg) and assist totals (5.0 apg).
She also made her presence felt on the defensive end with three steals per contest and also shot an impressive 64.3 percent on all shots (18-of-28).
Troyer put up a 20 point, 10-rebound double-double on the road at Lake Erie as she played 35 minutes.
The sophomore sank 8-of-12 shots from the field and added three assists, two steals and a block.
On Saturday in an overtime ODU win, she delivered 25 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and four steals, in a well-rounded effort to fill the box score.
Troyer was deadly from long range, missing just one of her six attempts from beyond the arc and five of her nine boards came on the offensive glass.
Troyer has emerged as a top five scorer in the Great Midwest (14.8), currently tied for fourth. Her rebounding totals rank seventh (6.4) and she is averaging almost two steals per game.
