Holbrook established herself in the top 10 in the conference record books of the 60-meter dash, not easy considering multiple NCAA champ Janelle Perry of Ursuline has been lurking for three years.
Holbrook clocked a 7.76 at the Tiffin Alumni Open, tied for the sixth-best mark along with Perry and Hillsdale’s reigning Great Midwest Freshman of the Year Zalonya Eby.
Holbrook won her heat in the semifinals and would finish third in the finals of the event.
She also helped the Dragons finish second in the 4x400-meter relay race in a time of 4:05.71 only behind Division I participant Oakland. Holbrook ran the third leg as TU finished less than a second behind Oakland’s winning pace.
