Two wins, two shutout efforts, two road games and two game-winners was a golden equation for Brothen and the program as the Trojans punched their ticket into the conference tournament.
In Thursday's face-off at Lake Erie, Brothen scored on her one and only shot of the game. The goal came early in the second half off a pass from Katelyn Hutchinson as the Trojans pitched their third shutout in a row.
Brothen also only took one shot during the Trojans’ 1-0 overtime victory at Ursuline on Saturday. This game winner came off a corner kick six minutes into OT for the golden goal and Brothen slotted the ball into the back of the net.
Trevecca is currently tied for second in the conference standings with three more games left in the regular season.
Brothen now has five goals on the season with 14 games played.
