There’s a lot of orange and black crowding the top of the scoring leaders in the conference this season and Wipper is right in the mix following her effort at the Beall Fall Classic at the Findlay Country Club.
Wipper won a playoff against sophomore teammate Kristina Kniesly, who previously set the single-round scoring record in conference history with a 67 (-5).
Wipper matched Kniesly’s record-breaking accomplishment in short order to finish with a two-round score of 148 (81-67).
Findlay placed third in the team scoring only behind Missouri-St. Louis and Grand Valley State with a two-day score of 604.
Wipper entered the event ranked third in the conference in scoring average; she improved her scoring average noticeably with a 75.27 in the season through 11 rounds played.
