Huffman was dominant in back-to-back sweeps against Lake Erie and Ursuline on the road as the Dragons continue to establish themselves as top tier in the conference in their first season.
Tiffin will carry the No. 3 seed from the league into this weekend’s Crossover event.
Huffman recorded 30 kills and hit .431. Her peripheral stats were just as splashy with 4.67 digs per set and almost a block per set.
Huffman was responsible for 17 kills on 35 attempts against reigning East Division champ Lake Erie and followed that up the next day with 13 more against Ursuline. She had double-doubles in each contest with 16 and 12 digs, respectively.
Among all players in the league, Huffman ranked second in points, third in kills, fifth in hitting percentage and eighth in digs from the past week of competition.
This is her second career conference weekly honor of the season after also being selected on Sept. 24.
