For the second straight week, Matt Brooker has been named the men’s cross country runner of the week, making it three straight weeks in which a Cedarville runner has claimed this honor. Brooker, who took first place at the 22nd Friendship Invitational hosted by the Yellow Jackets over the weekend, guided the team to a first place finish as well with a time of 24:38.96.
His time was over 32 seconds better than his teammate and second place finisher, Josiah Bragg. It is the second-straight week in which Brooker led the Yellow Jackets team, but is his first overall victory as an individual on the season.
