Spin cashed in on her third weekly conference offensive honor as the Storm continued to roll in the regular season. LEC is closing in on a perfect run through the conference schedule, going into the new week 9-0 in league play.
The junior continues to rack up points in bunches, tallying 13 more in home victories against Alderson Broaddus and Davis & Elkins. She averaged 6.50 points per game on the week.
Lake Erie defeated AB and D&E by a combined score of 41-10 and is seeking to enhance its in-season resume for the Midwest Region rankings, where the Storm are fifth.
Spin had three goals and three assists against D&E on just eight shots as she contributed a ground ball and a caused turnover. In a 20-7 Lake Erie win, Spin recorded three goals and four assists vs. the Battlers.
Spin has helped Lake Erie become the top-scoring offensive unit in the Great Midwest with the Storm averaging over 17 goals per game scored. Spin is also the league leader in both points (84) and goals (55) and is tied at the top in assists (29) with Ohio Valley’s Emily Prentice.
