Vaughan put up an impressive performance at the Brandi Bowen Invitational at Glenville State for his third career conference weekly honor. He took home first place in one event and was runner-up in another while placing near the top of the conference performance chart in both.
He started out by taking first place in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 54.20, a conference-best in the current outdoor season. It also represents a top-10 time in conference history.
He also clocked the second-fastest 110-meter hurdles of the season with a time of 14.90, placing second at the event as well. The redshirt junior already owns the conference meet record with the 14.61 he posted at the outdoor meet last season.
Vaughan also ran the second leg of the 4x100-meter relay team that placed second with a time of 43.72.
Vaughan helped lead the Battlers to a third-place team finish at the event and has also been part of three different relay teams that lead the team this season.
