Nottingham had an impressionable performance as the Storm held off Walsh by a score of 16-11. In a battle of unbeaten in the conference standings, Lake Erie went on the road and prevailed to improve to 5-2.
Nottingham collected six ground balls and caused four turnovers for the Storm. LEC had to work from behind at halftime while trailing Walsh 7-5.
The Storm would push through in the final 30 minutes, outscoring the Cavaliers 11-4 in the second half and the defense only gave up nine shots after the break.
