Sherman is now a two-time conference weekly selection this season for her offensive exploits. The Oilers defeated Alderson Broaddus and Davis & Elkins to continue their hot start through conference play.
As Findlay outscored D&E and AB by a combined score of 39-6, Sherman racked up seven goals and five assists for a grand total of 12 points.
Sherman had three points with a pair of goals and one assist against D&E.
Her big game against Alderson Broaddus was notable with nine points, tied for the second most in conference history with Walsh’s Emma Armour. Sherman scored five goals and assisted four others.
The overall single-game points record is 10 by Anna Spin at Lake Erie, set just last weekend.
Sherman now ranks third in the conference in points and assists per game and comes in sixth in goals per game for the Oilers, who are tops in the league with 16 goals per contest.
