Kacalova was 4-0 as the Cavaliers worked to earn a pair of conference victories against Findlay and Ursuline. Walsh improved to 6-8 overall and is 2-0 in league play this spring.
Kacalova went to three sets against Findlay’s Sheridan McLean, a Great Midwest athlete of the week selection in the fall. She rallied after falling in the first set, 7-5, to win the next two, 6-3 and 7-5.
As Walsh won in shutout form against Ursuline, Kacalova won in straight sets at No. 2 singles and swept doubles also at No. 2 in the rotation.
Kacalova’s overall record in singles is now 4-8 and she is 5-8 in doubles with her primary partner being Katarina Raszum.
