McKinney’s second career conference weekly honor comes after the junior batted .455 in six games as D&E faced Findlay, Ohio Dominican and Lake Erie, all on the road.
McKinney tallied 10 total hits, including three for extra bases with a pair of doubles and a triple. He had at least one hit in five of the Senators’ six contests.
He also walked twice, stole a base and scored four runs.
McKinney was a perfect 3-for-3 against No. 18 Ohio Dominican to start a doubleheader. He doubled twice and reached on all five plate appearances with a pair of walks.
He also recorded two hits apiece in both games against Findlay and game two of the Lake Erie twinbill.
McKinney is now hitting .311 on the season in 14 games. He has a pair of home runs, 10 runs scored and nine RBI.
