LEC handed Findlay its first loss of the season in dramatic fashion with an overtime finish in an 11-10 final. The final outcome could also prove pivotal as scenarios home field advantage for the conference championship start to develop.
Spin put away the game-winning score against the Oilers after the Storm overcame a 10-9 deficit with just under six minutes in regulation. A Taylor Mathis-goal knotted things up at 10-10 before Spin scored with 4:54 remaining in OT.
On the defensive side, she was credited with four groundballs and caused three opponent turnovers. Versus OVU, she also forced three turnovers and contributed a goal and an assist in a 21-4 win.
