Scerbo collected Great Midwest Freshman of the Year, Great Midwest All-Freshman Team accolades and second team all-conference honors, in a banner rookie season for the Griffins.
Scerbo also helped SHU win a conference championship trophy in its maiden voyage as an associate member of the league. He has continued to be instrumental for the program’s run this spring as the Griffins extended their win streak to five straight.
Scerbo is the league leader in ground balls per game and is second in faceoff percentage (.607) with 91 head-to-head sequences won.
Seton Hill outscored Wheeling Jesuit and North Greenville by a combined score of 27-11 as Scerbo collected 21 total groundballs and won 32 of his 43 faceoff attempts in the circle.
He also scored a goal against North Greenville and played all possible 120 minutes on the field. The Griffins improved to 6-1 overall.
