Hooker had a remarkable four-game stretch as the Battlers had a pair of doubleheaders against Lock Haven and Jefferson over the weekend.
He belted five home runs, drove in 11 runs and scored nine times while hitting .625 at the plate (10-for-16).
The most notable game was a 4-for-4 effort with a single-game conference record three home runs and seven RBI to start the Jefferson series. Hooker also had a pair of three-hit performances in each game of the Lock Haven series.
He also doubled and reached base after being hit by a pitch.
The seven RBI is the second most in a single-game in league history; David Lenhardt (Cedarville) and Hunter Newman (Trevecca) each had eight RBI in 2013 and 2015, respectively.
In eight games, Hooker is off to a torrid start at the plate with a scorching .536 batting average and a 1.143 slugging percentage. He has 15 hits in 28 at-bats and earned conference player of the week honors for the second time in his career.
