Bault has absolutely been dealing on the mound for Ohio Dominican as he collected his second pitcher of the week award for the second time already this spring.
In regional competition, he made starts against Tiffin and Wayne State to sport a 0.64 ERA in 14 innings pitched with 13 strikeouts.
Bault hurled a complete-game three-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts with the pitch count just at 105 against Wayne State. He walked just two as the Panthers offered plenty of run support against the Warriors in an 11-0 final.
He received a no-decision against Tiffin despite going the minimum of five innings. Bault limited the Dragons to one run on four hits and he struck out three. ODU would go on to win that game by a 4-3 final.
This spring, Bault has a K/9 of 11.05 to go with a 2-0 win-loss record in three starts so far. He has made four total appearance and is carrying a 1.23 ERA with 27 K’s in 22 innings pitched.
