The 2012-13 season came to a close in April with the inaugural Women’s Golf Championship hosted by Trevecca Nazarene University. The Lady Trojans captured the title with 36-hole, two-day total of 663.
Individually, freshman Mikalya Dodson took medalist honors after shooting a tournament-low round of 77 in the first round, and followed up with a matching second round of 77 for a total of 154.
Dodson was also named to the All-Conference team with her top finish and becomes the first women's golfer to win back to back G-MAC Women's Golf Athlete of the Month honors.
