Jordan has consistently been among the Great Midwest’s best this year as one of the top scoring options for the second straight year. The first-team all-conference guard lit up the three opponents while waging his candidacy for player of the year votes from the league’s coaches.

Jordan averaged 23 points, 6.7 rebounds and five assists per game while shooting almost 53 percent on his shot attempts. He also sank 13-of-23 tries from distance and contributed 1.7 steals per contest.

The Pioneers needed all 26 of Jordan’s points to nip the Yellow Jackets in what was Malone’s second straight game past regulation (double OT win vs. Alderson Broaddus). He was 8-of-14 from the floor and sank five three pointers. He polished off the double-double with 10 rebounds.

Malone halted No. 11 Findlay’s 16-game win streak with an impressive showing at home with a double-digit margin of victory. Jordan was more than efficient with a game-high 26 and had five assists and five boards.

It was also his second straight game with five made treys. Jordan added in three steals and cashed in on seven made free throws.

Jordan then played 36 minutes against Hillsdale and paced his team with 17 points. He dished out eight more assists and collected five rebounds to go with two blocks.

Jordan currently leads all players in three-point field percentage (with a minimum of 2.5 made per game) and ranks third in the league in scoring at 19.9 ppg. He’s also fifth in assists, fourth in steals and checks in at third in free throw percentage.

His season best 41-point outburst is tied for the second most scored in a game this season.
