Perry’s athleticism and skill set resembles a Swiss-Army knife with a hold on top conference season times/distances in the 60-meter dash, 60-meter hurdles, high jump and long jump.
She was at it again this past weekend at the Conference Crossover at Hillsdale, the host site for this year’s Great Midwest Indoor Championships. Perry took down two more indoor conference records in her latest display.
After clocking a 7.73 in the prelims, Perry blazed to a new conference record of 7.66 in the 60-meter dash finals. She broke the previous record held by Keyana Roberts, also of Ursuline, back in 2015.
She also shattered her own 60-meter hurdles mark with an 8.47 clocked. She had set the record just back in December at the Kent State Golden Flash Gala
Perry was just 0.01 meter from matching Olga Branney (Malone) and her high jump record at the same event. Her 5.81m distance in the long jump is third all-time in conference history – Perry has possession of that standard already.
