The next in a traditional line of standout jumpers has arrived with Ursuline’s jumps unit as Henry broke a longstanding record held since 2013 in the Great Midwest.
Henry had a clearance of 36’ 8.25” (11.18m) to place second in the event at the Grand Valley State-hosted Bob Eubanks Open.
She broke the previous conference record of Cedarville’s Beth Jones (11.16m) from December of 2013 at the Findlay Oiler Opener.
Henry cracked a record that has stood the test of time as the sport of women’s track and field has really emerged across the league in recent history.
The longest standing indoor record in conference history is now the 4x4 relay (Ursuline) from 2014.
