Olson and the Oilers beat Ohio Dominican and Cedarville on the road in back-to-back days to move that much closer to securing hosting rights for the Great Midwest Championship.
Findlay is now 22-4 with a 13-1 record in league play as a West Division member.
The junior setter showcased solid all-around number as she averaged 10.71 assists, 3.00 digs and 1.29 service aces per set, in both contests. At 5-11, she also added in five kills and four blocks.
She totaled 40 assists, 14 digs, five service aces and three kills, in just four sets against Ohio Dominican before coming through with 35 assists, seven digs, four more service aces and three blocks vs. Cedarville.
Olson currently leads the league in assists (1,037) and assists per set (11.03). The single-season conference record for total assists is 1,271 from Kristin Cardwell of Cedarville in 2016. Olson is also on pace to break the all-time assists per set mark of 10.25 in a single season held by Trevecca’s Loren Bennett in the 2015 season.
