John-Brown was recapturing some of his Great Midwest Offensive Player of the Year form at the expense of Walsh and Malone over the past week.

John-Brown scored a total of nine points in just two games this week, including four goals (both game winners) and an assist.
John-Brown recorded a hat trick against Malone as the Battlers exploded for seven goals in a shutout win. He also converted a penalty kick for a score and assisted another AB score midway through the second half.
The senior then delivered in double overtime against Walsh in the 104th minute to give the Battlers their eighth win of the year and snap a 2-2 stalemate.
John-Brown now has a team-leading 16 points on the year with six goals and four assists.
