Mora and the Fighting Scots claimed sole possession of first place in the conference standings with shutouts against Findlay and Ohio Dominican. The win against ODU was notable because the Panthers went into Week 4 as the conference leader.
The Fighting Scots have won three straight after battling to a pair of 1-1 ties.
In the 2-0 week, Mora played all 180 minutes and combined to make 11 saves on 23 shots faced against Findlay and Ohio Dominican.
The Fighting Scots’ defense permitted just six shots against Mora in the win vs. Findlay while the junior keeper stepped up to make seven saves on 17 shots under a little more duress against the Panthers.
Mora is now on record for all of OVU’s goalkeeping decisions this season with a league-leading .893 save percentage and is second (to Walsh’s McClanahan) with a very small 0.42 goals against average.
