One week after teammate Mickey McClanahan was tabbed for defensive weekly honors, Sanborn and Olivia Peters continue to form a deadly 1-2 offensive combo that has helped the Cavaliers blaze a trail to a perfect season so far.
Sanborn contributed five points (2 G, A) against the preseason favorite Trojans to help seal a 3-2 victory and delivered the game-winning goal against KWC in a 2-0 shutout performance.
As a team unit, Walsh leads the conference in points and assists and ranks second in both goals and goals per game.
Sanborn now ranks fifth in the Great Midwest in points (13), fourth in points per game (1.86), goals (5) and is tied for third in assists (3).
