The Great Midwest Sportsmanship Award, adopted in May of 2025,aims to recognize one institution for their teams' outstanding sportsmanship throughout an academic year. Head coaches of each sport ranks the sportsmanship of each institution’s team participating in the specific sport during the All-Conference Team voting process.Institutions are ranked in order, with one earning the highest amount of points and so on.Each rank will carry a numeric value to be used for tallying votes.  Institutions ranked one, two or three for the sport will be recognized with the All-Conference team.
