Great Midwest SAAC

About 
The Great Midwest Athletic Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee shall assist the conference in embracing the six attributes of NCAA Division II membership including learning, balance, resourcefulness, sportsmanship, passion and service, as well as assisting in creating positive game environments and bringing community to campus events.

2025-2026 Great Midwest SAAC Goals
The following represent goals established by the Great Midwest Athletic Conference SAAC and are reviewed on a continual and annual basis. The following goals were set during the 2025 SAAC Summer meeting and are in place for the 2024-25 school year.

1. Raise $25,000 for Make-A-Wish
2. Maintain G-MAC SAAC Twitter (X) and Instagram accounts and encourage
campuses to provide updates.
3. 100% participation at all SAAC meetings and videoconferences.
4. Ensure all institutions meet the minimum requirements established in SAAC
Operating Code 5 section 5.7.6.
5. Ensure all institutions submit SAAC rosters by October 1, 2025, to the
conference.
6. All institutions shall complete the application for the Community Engagement
Award.
7. SAAC representatives will meet with athletic staff at least once an academic
year.

Community Engagement Award
The Community Engagement Award is an award conceptualized by the Great Midwest Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). The award recognizes an institution within the conference for its success in community service hours and the impact the contributions have on the community. Additional Resources
