Overview: Great Midwest volleyball programs battled through another week of conference play during the fourth week of competition (September 15 – September 21). Ashland, Findlay, and Ohio Dominican/ Cedarville stay at the top of their divisions through another week of play, with the Eagles and Panthers remaining undefeated in conference marks.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS:

• Ohio Dominican went 3-0 last week, with two sweeps against Thomas More and Kentucky Wesleyan. The Panthers were led by freshman outside hitter Annie Fincham. Fincham hit .319 with 33 kills, three service aces, and 13 digs.
• Walsh stays second in the East Division, only behind 10-2 Ashland after week four. The Cavaliers dropped their first game to Mountain East powerhouse Fairmont State, then bounced back to defeat Malone 3-1.
• Senior outside hitter Hannah Miller topped the charts for Findlay for the second consecutive week. The Oilers went 2-1 with wins at Ursuline and Lake Erie, where Miller had 49 kills and a team-high 37 digs. She currently ranks second in the nation in kills/set at 4.89.
• Cedarville remains undefeated in the conference after another flawless weekend. The Yellow Jackets picked up two sweeps against G-MAC competitors Kentucky Wesleyan and Thomas More.
• Ashland’s Jenna Shedden earned East Division Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week of the season. The Eagles went 3-1 last week with wins against Tiffin, Northwood, and Hillsdale. Shedden ended the week with 56 kills, 44 digs, and 10 blocks, while having double-doubles (kills/digs) in Saturday’s matches against Hillsdale and No. RV Gannon.
