MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University football team is ranked No. 25 in the latest American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II poll, which was released Monday (September 14).

This marks the first time since the 2006 season Northwood has appeared in the top-25 in the AFCA poll.

The Timberwolves are also ranked in the latest Division II polls conducted by FloSports (No. 17) and D2Football.com (No. 23).

Northwood is now 2-0 on the season after earning is third-straight win over rival Saginaw Valley in the Axe Bowl.

The Timberwolves will host Hillsdale (2-0) in the second annual Riepma Cup Saturday (September 19). Game time is set for Noon.
