Overview:
Great Midwest volleyball programs recorded an overall record of 12-18 during the third week of competition (September 8 – September 12). G-MAC teams faced off against one another, while also competing against teams from the Mountain East and the Peach Belt Conference. Teams will gear up for another week of conference play beginning Tuesday, September 15.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS:

• Ashland’s 2-0 weekend was led by Jenna Shedden, totaling 21 kills, 23 digs, and 5 assists. The Eagles had home sweeps against Findlay and Kentucky Wesleyan this weekend, bringing their record to 7-1.
• Ohio Dominican also went 2-0 this weekend against other G-MAC programs. The Panthers hosted Northwood, sweeping them 3-0, then battled all five sets against Hillsdale and came out with the 3-2 win.
• Hannah Miller led the Oilers to a 1-1 weekend, dropping their match against Ashland then bouncing back to sweep Tiffin. Miller had 32 kills, 18 digs, and hit .256 on 82 attacks, accounting for 37% of Findlay’s attacks this week.
• Walsh had a clean weekend, defeating Ursuline 3-0 on the road and Lake Erie 3-1 on their home court. Standout Cavalier was Junior Izzy Shank, totaling 22 kills and 2 service aces over the weekend.
• Cedarville had two home wins over Hillsdale and Northwood over the weekend. Leading the Yellow Jackets was Madelyn Hensley, who totaled 27 kills and 8 blocks, earning her Great Midwest Athlete of the Week.
