INDIANAPOLIS– The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Emily Boyette as Operations Coordinator. She will be tasked with supporting the conference’s day-to-day operations and championship administration, in conjunction with completing her graduate work in sport management at the University of Indianapolis
Boyette brings a strong background in collegiate athletics and sport management to the G-MAC.
A graduate of the UIndy, Boyette previously served as a student assistant with the Greyhounds’ women's volleyball program. She also gained valuable experience through her involvement with collegiate athletic events and organizations.
In her role with the G-MAC, Boyette will assist with conference operations, championship administration, event coordination, compliance initiatives, and other responsibilities that support the conference’s member institutions and student-athletes.
“Emily is a great addition to the G-MAC staff, and has immediately illustrated the work ethic, organization and passion for college athletics that is so important for the role,” said G-MAC Commissioner Tom Daeger. “We are excited to have her as part of the G-MAC team and look forward to the contributions she will make as we continue to grow and enhance the experience for our member institutions and student-athletes.”
Boyette’s experience as a student-athlete and athletics professional provides her with a unique perspective as she transitions into conference administration. Prior to her time at UIndy, she competed in volleyball at Heartland Community College, where she majored in Business Administration.
In addition to her work with the G-MAC and UIndy, Boyette also serves on the coaching staff at The Academy Volleyball Club in Indianapolis, and recently completed an internship with Pastime Tournaments.
