INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) is proud to announce a year-long celebration of its 15th anniversary throughout the 2026-27 academic year. To commemorate a decade and a half of historic growth, national championships, and elite student-athlete success, the conference is rolling out a special digital storytelling campaign to honor its foundation and look toward the future.

Operating under the official campaign slogan #BeGreat | #GreatnessContinues, the 15th-anniversary celebration will officially kick off this fall, bringing the conference's history to life for fans, alumni, and current student-athletes.

“As we celebrate 15 years of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, we honor the remarkable journey that brought us here, including the championships won and the countless student-athletes, coaches, and administrators who built our identity," said Commissioner Tom Daeger. "Their dedication created a legacy of excellence that continues to inspire us. With that foundation as our launch point, we look toward a future filled with even greater possibility. The momentum they sparked will carry us into a new era of achievement and highlight an unwavering commitment to shaping champions on and off the field.”  

Unlocking “The Vault Series”
The centerpiece of the anniversary celebration is Talkin’ G-MAC: The Vault Series. This special anniversary edition of the conference's official podcast will feature exclusive interviews with the trailblazers, national champions, and key figures who helped build the G-MAC into what it is today.

Hosted by Katie Gilhooly, The Vault Series will give listeners an unprecedented look behind the scenes of the conference's biggest triumphs. Throughout the academic year, the G-MAC will periodically "unlock the vault" to release new podcast episodes highlighting legendary moments, historic title runs, and the stories behind the programs that shaped the league.

Alongside the podcast interviews, the G-MAC will feature highlights, soundbites, and archival photos across its digital and social media platforms to celebrate the ongoing legacy of its member institutions.
