Palm Beach, Fla. – The University of Findlay women's golf team, ranked No. 3 in the country, wrapped up the stroke play portion of the 2026 NCAA Division II National Championship, which is being held at PGA National – Championship Course in Palm Beach, Florida. The Oilers began the day in sixth and, by the end, had climbed into a tie for third after a second-consecutive round of 302 (+14) capped their tournament at 909 (+45).

With that finish, Findlay has locked up a spot in the top eight, earning a trip to the medal match play portion of the event for a seventh consecutive year. Findlay and Dallas Baptist, which finished second in stroke play, are the only two programs in the country to have earned a trip to medal match play each year since the format was initiated in 2019.

Senior Hayley Dye was the team's top individual finisher, securing all-American status with a tie for fifth. On Thursday, Dye fired a round of 77 (+5) to wrap up her individual scoring at 221 (+5) for the week. This is the fourth consecutive year, and the seventh time in 11 years, that the Oilers have had at least one player finish in the top-ten at the National Championship.

Not far behind, senior Ellie Yeazell finished in T15 after firing her second-best round of the tournament, a three-over 75. On Thursday, Yeazell made birdie on her final two holes to move up into the top 20 with a 54-hole score of 225 (+9).

Junior Ashleigh Duflo put up her best round of the tournament thus far, firing a 74 (+2) on Thursday to finish the three-rounds at 227 (+11). Duflo, who is the fifth-ranked player in the country according to Clippd.com, was honored after the day was complete for her play all season. Duflo was named a First Team All-American by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA), the sixth first team all-American award earned by the program in the last four years.

Finishing in T63 is freshman Emma Myers. The Toledo, Ohio native put together her best round of the week, making13 pars and a birdie on her way to a 76 (+4), giving her a 54-hole score of 238 (+22). Sophomore Gracie James rounded out Findlay's lineup in T77 with a Thursday round of 84 (+12), giving her a score of 245 (+29) through three rounds.

Comments from Head Coach Dominic Guarnieri
"We showed a ton of grit this week after some tough starts to our rounds. I'm proud of the way we never gave up and continued to battle back even when things weren't going our way. The first step is complete and now we just need to go be ourselves and play with confidence. In this format, anything can happen. We are excited to be in this position again and will take tomorrow one shot at a time."
