HILLSDALE, Mich. – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference held the Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Hillsdale, Mich. this week. The Tiffin Dragons captured their first G-MAC Outdoor title since 2023.
Tiffin collected a total of 186.66 points finishing ahead of the second place Ashland Eagles who posted 163 points. They had Dragons stand atop of the podium in the 400 hurdles, 1500m, long jump, 5000m run, decathlon, and 10,000m.
Ramon Rodriguez racked up a total of 28 points for the Dragons, claiming victories in the 5,000m and 1500m as well as a second-place finish in the 10,000m. His elite performance earned him Track Athlete of the Meet honors.
At the conclusion of the meet the Great Midwest held their awards ceremony honoring both championship teams as well as the individual award winners.
