Baseball
North Division
Pitcher:
Carson Mellott / University of Findlay/ Sr. / Pitcher / Tiffin, Ohio
Carson Mellott and the Oilers extended their win streak to 12 with a sweep over Cedarville. The Oilers then went on to split with Tiffin, with Mellott earning the win. He threw a complete game one-hitter, tossing seven innings and allowing no runs. He recorded 10 strikeouts in the win.
Player:
Drew Tucker / University of Findlay/ Fr. / Infield/ Toledo, Ohio
Findlay swept the North Division honors this week as Drew Tucker claimed the player of the week honors. In a 3-1 week, Tucker led the team with six hits on 17 at bats. He scored a team-high seven runs, while recording six RBIs. His six hits included a double and two home runs.
South Division
Pitcher:
Jackson Phelps / Malone University / Sr. / Pitcher / Medina, Ohio
Malone’s Jackson Phelps tossed seven innings for the Pioneers. He tabbed a team-high five strikeouts.
Player:
Chris Kramer / Walsh University / RS So. / Infield / Amherst, N.Y.
The Cavaliers had a 2-0 week with wins over Malone. Chris Kramer went 5-9 with seven RBIs. His five hits included a pair of double and a homerun. Kramer also stole one base during the week.
Women’s Golf
Ashleigh Duflo / University of Findlay / Jr. / Ada, Mich.
Ashleigh Duflo picked up her third individual title of the year at the Findianpolis Intercollegiate in a field of nationally-ranked opponents. Duflo shot rounds of 70-74-72 to help the Oilers win the team title.
Men’s Golf
Oliver Marshall / Hillsdale College/ Jr. / Naples, Fl
Hillsdale’s Oliver Marshall shot six under to win medalist honors at the Music City Invitational. Marshall made birdie on the final put to break a three-way tie for first. He fired rounds of 70-66-68 to total 204 through 54 holes.
Men’s Outdoor Track
Blake Vier / Northwood University / RS-Jr. / Royal Oaks, Mich.
Vier claims his second weekly honor after a record-breaking weekend. Vier and the Timberwolves competed at the Texas Relays as well as the Bobcat Invitational. He clocked a program record of 13.72 in the 110-meter hurdles. His mark is currently the fastest in Division II this season.
Men’s Outdoor Field
Eyan Wilson/ University of Findlay / Sr. / Toledo, Ohio
Eyan Wilson won the shot put at Cincinnati’s Oliver Nikoloff Invite. He heaved a mark of 17.63m, that ranks ninth in Division II. Wilson also finished third in the discus with a mark of 49.02m
Women’s Outdoor Field
Molly Winner / Ashland University/ RS Jr. / Yorkshire, Ohio
Ashland’s Molly Winner broke the G-MAC record in the shot put with a mark of 64.05m. Winner’s throw is the furthest in Division II this season.
Women’s Outdoor Track
Allison Kuzma / Hillsdale College / So. / Zeeland, Mich.
Kuzma shattered both the Hillsdale and G-MAC record in the 10K with a time of 33:10.83. Her time is second in the country this season.
Men’s Lacrosse
Defensive:
Riley Lincoln / Wheeling University/ Fr. /Midfield/ Clarence Center, N.Y.
Riley Lincoln earned Defensive Player of the Week honors after causing seven turnovers and picking up nine ground balls on the week. The Cardinals went 2-0 on the week, with wins over Point Park and Malone.
Offensive:
Jayden Ashley / Davenport University/ Sr. / Attack/ Lawrenceville, N.Y.
Ashley earned Offensive Player of the Week honors for the second consecutive week after registering eight points in a 20-9 win over Lake Erie. He connected on five goals and dished out three assists.
Women’s Lacrosse
Defensive:
Caroline Weber / University of Findlay/ So. /Goalkeeper/ Galena, Ohio
Findlay Oiler Caroline Weber allowed just three goals in 60 minutes of play and earned both wins in the net during the Oilers 2-0 week.
Offensive:
Rachel Crumbacher / Ashland University / Sr. / Attack/ Avon, Mich.
Ashland Eagle Rachel Crumbacher had seven goals, three assists and seven draw controls as the Eagles continued being undefeated in conference play.
Softball
Pitcher:
Lexi Key / Tiffin University/ Jr. / Pitcher / Fort Wayne, Ind.
Tiffin Dragon Lexi Key went 2-0 for the week with a 1.17 ERA as the Dragons found two victories. She had two complete games with a 8-0 shutout, totaling 12 innings, earning two runs, and six strikeouts.

Erica Massey / Ohio Dominican University/ Jr. / Outfield / Independence, Ohio
Ohio Dominican Panther Erica Massey led the Panthers with a .615 average in five games as she also scored three runs, three triples with four RBIs and two steals.
Men’s Tennis
Marc Ferrando / Northwood University/Fr. / Valencia,Spain
Ferrando and the Timberwolves picked up a pair of road wins over Ashland and Cedarville. Ferrando won straight sets at the No. 3 singles position. He then went on to win at No. 1 doubles against both teams. Ferrando has now won eight straight singles matches and five straight doubles matches.
Women’s Tennis
Danijela Danilovic / Northwood University/ Sr. / Subotica,Serbia
Danilovic went 2-0 at No. 2 singles, dropping just one set in two matches. She also went 2-0 at No. 1 doubles against Cedarville and Ashland. In total, the senior lost just four games in two matches.
