INDIANAPOLIS -- Outdoor track and field action continues this week as multiple Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) programs compete across the midwest. All 12 G-MAC schools will be back in action Friday and Saturday as teams continue to kick off their outdoor track and field season.
G-MAC Programs in Action
Ashland, Findlay, Hillsdale, Tiffin, Northwood, and Thomas More will travel to Cedarville University to compete in the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Open. For Cedarville, Findlay, and Thomas More, this marks their first competition since the conclusion of the indoor national championships in Virginia Beach. Ashland, Hillsdale, Tiffin, and Northwood have already begun their outdoor campaigns earlier this season.

Malone and Ohio Dominican
Malone and Ohio Dominican will travel to North Carolina to compete in the Raleigh Relays. This will be Ohio Dominican’s first outdoor meet of the season and Malone’s second. Ohio Dominican will also send a separate group of athletes to Granville, Ohio, to compete at the Denison Lid-Lifter Meet.

Walsh
Walsh will travel to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to compete in the Carnegie Mellon Invitational. The Cavaliers are coming off a strong indoor season, highlighted by Joel Brown’s runner-up finish in the heptathlon at the national championships. Walsh sent three athletes to the national meet and will look to carry that momentum into the outdoor season.

Ursuline
Ursuline will open its outdoor season at the Denison Lid-Lifter Meet in Granville, Ohio, alongside Ohio Dominican. The Arrows are coming off a seventh-place finish at the G-MAC Indoor Championships and will look to build momentum ahead of the G-MAC Outdoor Championships, scheduled for late April at Hillsdale.
Lake Erie
Lake Erie opened its 2026 outdoor season last week at Lee University. Alan de Falchi made a statement early after throwing 54.89 meters in the men’s discus hitting the NCAA qualifying mark. The Storm return to action this weekend at the Amy Adams Memorial Invitational, hosted by Muskingum University.
