INDIANAPOLIS – The final week of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) STUNT regular season delivered fireworks, headlined by early-week conference clashes and the two-day Ashland Invite.

Teams utilized the final stretch of the schedule to fine-tune their routines, secure crucial late-season victories, and gain a final boost of momentum before the G-MAC Championship this coming weekend.

Here is a look at the key storylines as the regular season reaches its conclusion:

The Ashland Invite Caps Off the Regular Season

The #8-ranked Ashland Eagles hosted the highly anticipated Ashland Invite this past weekend (March 21-22), welcoming top-tier competition to Kates Gymnasium for a packed slate of games.

• Day 1 (Saturday): Ashland opened the tournament against the undefeated G-MAC leaders, Davenport. Although the Eagles fell 26-17, they put up a serious fight, scoring the most points against the Panthers in program history. Ashland quickly regrouped later that afternoon to celebrate Senior Day with a 24-17 conference victory over #10 Malone, building a comfortable 15-7 lead by the end of the third quarter to fend off a late push by the Pioneers.

• Day 2 (Sunday): Facing strong club teams from the state of Michigan, Ashland dropped their opening match to Michigan State, 24-16. However, the Eagles ended their regular season on a high note, routing Central Michigan 28-7 behind an explosive 15-point fourth quarter.

The Eagles finished the weekend split 2-2, concluding their regular season with a stellar 16-7 overall record and an 8-2 mark in G-MAC play.

Ashland and Malone Dominate Mid-Week Matchups

Before the weekend tournament, both Ashland and Malone took care of business in conference play against Walsh University:

• Ashland Eagles: On Monday night, the Eagles traveled to North Canton and put on a defensive clinic. Ashland held the Cavaliers to a single point in the third quarter, comfortably securing a 22-1 victory.

• Malone Pioneers: On Wednesday, the Pioneers hosted Walsh for their final home tune-up. Malone showcased their offensive firepower and clean execution, cruising to a 27-11 win to build momentum before heading into the Ashland Invite.
