PAINESVILLE, Ohio -- Lake Erie College Athletics announced today that Hannah Zuchowski has been named the next head coach of the Storm volleyball program.

"We are thrilled to announce the hiring of Hannah Zuchowski as the next head volleyball coach at Lake Erie College," said Molly Hoffman, Executive Director of Athletics. "Hannah brings a strong commitment to excellence that aligns perfectly with our values and mission. Her extensive experience within the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) gives her a unique understanding of the competitive landscape we face, and we believe this familiarity will enhance our program's performance. Hannah's passion for Division II athletics is evident in her dedication to fostering both athletic skill and academic success among her student-athletes. We are confident that under her leadership, our volleyball program will reach new levels of success, and we look forward to the positive impact she will have on our student-athletes and the Lake Erie community."

Zuchowski arrives after spending three seasons on the coaching staff at Ashland University, including the spring of 2026 as the program's interim head volleyball coach. She joined the Eagles in 2023 as an assistant coach and was elevated to associate head coach for the 2025 season. While with ONU, she helped guide the program to both the regular-season and tournament championships in the Ohio Athletic Conference, along with an appearance in the NCAA Division III tournament.

Before Ohio Northern, Zuchowski spent three seasons on the coaching staff at Carthage College, including one year as an assistant coach and two years as a graduate assistant.

"First and foremost I am very thankful to Athletic Director Molly Hoffman and President Schuller for trusting me the with this opportunity to lead the Lake Erie volleyball program, said Zuchowski. "From the moment I met the people at Lake Erie I knew it was a place I could see myself. You can tell this is a place people want to be at and they want you to want to be here. I'm looking forward to building relationship with the girls both on and off the court. There's definitely talent in the gym and I am excited to start laying the foundation on who we are going to be and what we will stand for. I am proud to be at Lake Erie and I can't wait to see what the future holds!"

A former standout student-athlete, Zuchowski played four seasons of collegiate volleyball at Keystone College.
